Welcome to the Multiscale Energy Resource Simulation (MERS) Group!
The MERS research group is Dr. Olufemi (Femi) Olorode's research lab. It focuses on multiscale numerical and experimental studies of coupled physical processes in energy resources, as hydrate-based gas storage, underground hydrogen and CO2 storage, geologic hydrogen production, unconventional resources, and enhanced geothermal systems (EGS). Our work involves developing novel technologies for simulating and visualizing the results of these multiscale studies.
